Our Special Needs cats and kittens often need daily medication or they have special physical conditions that require special
living conditions. Our ultimate goal and wish would be to find a loving home for each one of our Special Needs cats. However,
that isn't always possible, and many of these cats become lifetime residents because we can't find proper homes for them.
Here are some of our Special Needs feline friends.
Elvis became a member of our St. Francis family after his home burned down and his owners could no longer keep him. Elvis tested
positive for FIV antibodies in his blood. While Elvis might never come down with the actual disease, and he could live
many healthy years, he needs to find a stress-free home where he will either be the only cat in the household or a companion for another
FIV positive kitty.
Gordon is an older kitten who has spent most of his young life at a veterinary clinic after it was discovered that he had hemophilia.
Gordon needs to live a life with as few bumps and bruises as possible. He would be the perfect pet for someone with no other
pets or children in the household.
Medication and/or special food will be provided to you if needed.
We also require that special needs cats return to us
for regular check-ups.
