What's New at St. Francis!
The shelter got a fresh new look with a paint job! Peg Tomanio gets huge credit for almost singlehandedly painting the entire building. She had some help from her husband, Mike, a community service worker and a few other volunteers. The color looks wonderful and you can actually "see" us now when driving on 41. We also have a new signs thanks to the excellent work of Rich at Dorsett Signs, and Ursula Pechota put in some new plants along the front to help brighten the entranceway. Thanks to Ursula for keeping them watered too! The oak tree got some much needed TLC and the roof is getting some final touches to keep the rain off! Talk about super curb appeal!!
The Thrift Store has moved to its new location in the Venice Plaza (near TJMaxx, SweetBay and Petsupermarket) a little further North on Bypass 41 in Venice. Come join us for Christmas in July!!
