We have certain cats and kittens who require daily medication and/or have a condition that requires special living conditions. Many of these cats and kittens become life-time residents at the shelter because we can't find proper homes for them. Our ultimate goal and wish would be to find a home for each one of our special needs cats, however, that isn't always possible. Therefore donations of time or money toward helping these cats is just as important. Here are a few of our many special needs cats and their stories.

He's a big bundle of sweet! He has a heart condition which is easily controlled with a 1/4 pill daily. However, he loves to eat but the extra weight is not good for his heart. The only way we can completely control his food intake is to cage him, and that would make him miserable as he loves to play. He takes his pill readily and we would provide the medication. He does not require a special diet but just needs someone to control his food intake for him.
